Choose your silhouette. Then check the size and length for your exact suit.

Regular fit

A fuller, traditional cut with more room through the chest, waist, seat and thighs. Choose this silhouette when comfort and ease of movement come first.

Modern fit

A shaped, tailored silhouette with moderate room through the body. A balanced choice when you want definition without a close fit.

Slim fit

A closer silhouette through the jacket and trousers. Check chest, waist and thigh comfort; do not size down simply to create a slimmer look.

Read your suit size

The number is the nominal jacket size. The letter is jacket length: S = Short, R = Regular, L = Long. In 42R, R means Regular length—not Regular fit. A 42R can be Regular, Modern or Slim fit.

Measure before you choose

Use a flexible tape over light clothing. Measure around the fullest chest under your arms, keeping the tape level. Measure your waist where you wear the trousers. Compare jacket length and sleeve length with a suit that fits well. Tell us your height, chest and trouser waist if you need help.

A suit’s jacket number does not guarantee the trouser waist. Brand, style and size can change the pairing. Check the exact suit before ordering or arranging alterations.

Brand & style exceptions

Statement TS-2V: Statement describes its published TS-2V as Modern/Tailored Fit. TCW’s listing is Celini by Statement TS2V; ask us to confirm the included trouser label for your size before relying on the published chart.

Manzini: The published general suit guide pairs jackets 36–46 with trousers 6 inches smaller, 48 with 43, and 50–54 with trousers 4 inches smaller. This is not a chart for letter-sized fashion tuxedos, separate blazers or matching casual sets. Confirm the exact style; larger sizes need a separate check.
